The national prayer and reconciliation day today Sunday 18th October 2015 has raised heated debate in Zambia among pundits and ordinary folk in a manner few could have predicted a month ago. On one hand, we have had many Zambians support it because the nation is generally very religious with not less than 80% of the population identifying as Christian.
The days of Chagwa’s reign are numbered and brought to an end. Chagwa has been weighed on the scales and found wanting and his kingdom is divided and given to the MMD (Medes) and UPND (Persians).
To borrow the words of Jesus, how long must we put up with this perverse generation of corrupt political leaders? How long shall the long-suffering Zambians put up with the corrupt incompetent PF government? How long before Zambians finally say “Enough is enough!” and throw this weight off their shoulders?
